Just a small card for the gallops today but we’re hoping to start the week on a winning note at Goulburn today, where the track is rated a good (3) and a fine day is expected.

It’s been 162 days since #3 Dragon Flyer’s last start but the Guy Walter-trained has trialled here and looks well placed in the Weddings on Track Maiden (1200m) after the scratching of Fast Take.

He ran third in two runs over the spring through his debut campaign, finishing just 3.3L away from Peter Snowden's Academus on debut. Just two runs after that maiden win, Academus headed to Perth and gustily claimed the Group 2 WA Guineas (1600m).

MLB for April 15

The Baltimore Orioles snapped a 14-year playoff drought last season thanks in large part to beating up on fellow AL East opponents. That success appears to have carried into 2013. The visiting Orioles try to win their third straight series against an East foe as they conclude a three-game set against the Yankees.

An all-Asian clash is set for the mound with Taiwan's Wei-Yin Chen chucking for the Orioles and Japan's Hiroki Kuroda answering the call for the Yankees. However, Baltimore has dropped both of Chen's starts this season despite the second-year hurler owning a respectable 3.75 ERA, and we’re siding with the Yankees to prevail here in a close one.

In its first game since Bryant suffered a devastating injury, the Lakers seek another crucial victory as they hosts the Spurs in a possible first-round playoff preview.

We believe that LA’s long list of injuries will take their toll on the team’s depth in the this spot, while the under is 10-1 in the Lakers’ last 11 home dates against foes with winning road records.
